Can you sell shopper research?
If you have retail client side or research agency background and can hit the ground running in terms of new business development, we’d like to hear from you. If you have experience in selling bespoke retail related market research services to leading retailers and brand owners, we’d definitely like to hear from you.
Shopping Behaviour Xplained Ltd is one of the world’s leading specialist shopper research agencies. We offer both qualitative and quantitative research services via a number of unique and bespoke research methodologies. We compare what shoppers actually do in-store with their conscious and sub-conscious motivations and opinions.
Our ongoing success means that we are expanding and therefore we are looking to grow our specialist team by adding 2 business development professionals. The successful candidates will have excellent communications skills, be genuinely self-motivated and have a proven track record of new business development. In addition, the following key attributes are essential:
Our expert analysis of shopping behavior combined with a unique 3-way study of interview data provides much more reliable understanding and insight on which to make key decisions.
- The ability to build relationships with some of the top retail professionals in the UK.
- Be able to identify, pitch for and WIN new shopper research business.
- A skilful presenter who can engage prospects by way of an informative manner.
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is a necessity.
- Possess a full (preferably clean) driving licence.
- A keen interest in understanding the human mind and people’s behaviour is a definite advantage.

Salary: Negotiable
- The ability to analyse data to uncover real insights.
- Be able to produce engaging presentations which deliver the insights back to clients both creatively and informatively.
- A skilled presenter who can deliver insights in an engaging and authoritative manner.
- You will need to have a good understanding of Excel and PowerPoint.
- A keen interest in understanding the human mind and people’s behaviour is a definite advantage.
